Assessment
An ABA assessment is a comprehensive evaluation process used to identify an individual’s strengths, challenges, and areas for growth.
This assessment gathers critical information about behaviors, communication, social skills, and daily living abilities. It includes interviews with caregivers, direct observations, and evidence-based tools such as Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and skill assessments like the VB-MAPP and the AFLS.
Direct Care
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) direct care services focus on using evidence-based strategies to improve socially significant behaviors in individuals.
These services involve one-on-one interaction between a client and a trained behavior technician, who implements personalized interventions to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors.
Supervision
of Behavior Technicians
Supervision of behavior technicians by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) ensures the delivery of high-quality ABA services.
During supervision, the BCBA provides ongoing training, feedback, and support to enhance the technician’s skills in implementing treatment plans effectively. The BCBA observes sessions, reviews data, and collaborates with the technician to make data-driven adjustments to interventions. Supervision also ensures adherence to ethical guidelines and best practices, maintaining consistency and progress toward client goals. This collaborative approach promotes professional growth for the technician and optimal outcomes for the individual receiving services.
Parent Training
Parent training services empower caregivers with the knowledge and tools to support their child’s development and address challenging behaviors effectively.
Through individualized sessions, parents learn evidence-based strategies to enhance communication, social skills, and daily routines at home and in the community. Training focuses on practical techniques such as positive reinforcement, prompting, and behavior management tailored to the family’s specific needs. Parents also receive guidance on tracking progress and maintaining consistency in implementing interventions. This collaborative approach fosters confidence, strengthens the parent-child relationship, and helps achieve long-term success beyond therapy sessions.
